After being told by doctors for 10 years that I could never get pregnant, I was ecstatic to run across the PCOS diet book.
Of course, after I read it I decided to do nothing, I realized this was a life-changing diet and I wasn't ready for it.
After I had a miscarriage, however, I had the catalyst I needed.
I went off all medicine, lost 55 lbs. following the diet, felt so healthy and alive, and became pregnant, giving birth to a healthy little girl.
I couldn't be happier with this book and all of the science explaining my disease.
I especially like the sample 30 day diet and recipes, something all other books lack.
I would recommend this book to anyone.

Editor's comments: Congrats. Teresa!!
First, congrats on the new addition to your family.
Second, congrats on your weight loss. Amazing what persistence will accomplish, once you have the knowledge and motivation.
I know full well how challenging and unfamiliar the diet is in The Natural Diet Solution for PCOS and Infertility. Most people are in a state of shock and disbelief. "What…you want me to give up BREAD??! Are you out of your mind?"
"And you want me to exercise, too!?"
Polycystic ovary syndrome is a tough disease. It never really just disappears; it simply changes its symptoms. The only way to handle a tough disease is to get tough yourself. How? By changing your health practices. Simple in concept. Harder to execute.
But you did it! Now that you have gotten this far, continue your good health practices. Why? Because your new daughter may also develop PCOS. So…you will want to be sure to teach her to only eat the best of foods (you know what they are!), and encourage her to always be physically active for as long as she lives.
Keep it the good work!
