Hi, ever since I started my period at 12 years old, they have never been regular. I would have periods that lasted 3 months and go 6 months without a period. Just all crazy.
Around age 15 I was diagnosed with PCOS. I am 28, now married and have 2 beautiful children.
I also, like many, had to change my diet and lose weight.
It took me about 5 years to conceive my first. For a couple of years I took Clomid but it didn't work. Then the doctor was going to send me to a fertility center but because it is expensive and I had no health insurance, I didn't do it.
Then years later, the doctor put me on metformin and I got pregnant. I took metformin for about 6 months. My second child is also a metformin baby.
Miracles happen and God's timing is perfect. Don't lose hope; it will happen when the time is right. I hope this can help someone out there.
